
Steve Briody (DMA) has worked for several years in the NY area as a
guitarist, composer, arranger, and college professor.
Steve now resides in Columbia, SC, where he is on the
jazz/guitar faculty at the
University of South Carolina.
He is also on guitar faculty at
South Carolina State University and continues to teach
Jazz and Composition (remotely) to graduate students at
Five Towns College
(where he was past music division chair).
In Columbia, he has played with the South Carolina Philharmonic, Dick Goodwin,
funk drum legend Rick Latham, Danny Boozer, Robert Gardiner, Mark Rapp, Mike Frost,
Roland Haynes, Jarvis Jett, Aiken Symphony, tour dates with the New York Bee Gees,
the Neil Diamond Experience, & several other groups in various genres.
